This Privacy Policy sets out the basis on which EastPack Limited and/or its related companies (“EastPack, our, us, or “we”) collect information from you and also the basis on which any such information collected from you is dealt with.

(a) EastPack’s website at, or any associated website or microsite (collectively referred to as the “Website”); or

(together (a) and (b) are the Internet Sites and any one of them is an Internet Site),

Why do we collect personal information?

We may use the data to verify your identity if you need help with a forgotten password, or you are having logon difficulties with any of our Internet Site services.

Who do we share this information with?

We respect the privacy of your personal information and will take all reasonable steps to keep it confidential. However, we may disclose your personal information if required in connection with the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. This may include disclosure to the following persons:

Should we sell a part of or the whole of our business, our records of personal information will be transferred to the new business owner or any of its related or affiliated companies (as the case may be).

We will not share the information that we collect with any other third parties.

The aggregated data (not the personally identifiable information) may be shared with third parties such as advertisers or business partners.

Disclosure of personal information offshore

Some of the third parties to whom we disclose personal information may be located outside New Zealand. For example, information which we collect from you may be stored or processed outside of New Zealand where the relevant Internet Site is hosted on a server located outside New Zealand (e.g hosted in the “cloud”).

When we disclose personal information to third parties based offshore, we will comply with the requirements of the Privacy Act that relate to the transfer of personal information offshore.

How do we use "cookies"?

"Cookies" are small pieces of information stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. Cookies do not contain personally identifying information. It does provide details of your IP address, the computer platform that you use (eg Mac or Windows), the browser that you use (eg Microsoft Explorer or Netscape) and what domain you are accessing our sites from. Social Networking Sites

Our Social Networking Sites allow you to share content with other users. Importantly, any personal information that you contribute to our Social Networking Sites can be read, collected and used by other Social Networking Site users. In particular, our Facebook page is set to the “everyone” setting in accordance with Facebook’s terms and conditions. This means that information you post is publicly available and may be accessed by everyone on the internet, be indexed by third party search engines and be imported, exported, distributed and redistributed by us and others, without privacy limitations. We have little or no control over these other users and, therefore, we cannot guarantee that any information that you contribute to any Social Networking Site will be handled in accordance with this Policy.

Storage and security of personal information

Any personal information that falls within the scope of this Privacy Policy is collected and held by us or trusted third parties we may engage to store information on our behalf.

We will take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, corruption, loss or unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, including through physical, electronic and procedural safeguards.
