Rangitaiki Fruit Packers Ltd (now EastPack) opens in Edgecumbe and packs 60,000 trays for 23 shareholders.

Edgecumbe Earthquake causes significant damage to the EastPack site and the wider BOP region.

Purchased Opotiki Co-op, which increased supply to 3 million trays.

Rangitaiki Fruit Packers Ltd changes name to EastPack Ltd

EastPack invests more than $20 million and develops the Quarry Road site in Te Puke, the largest fruit processing site in the southern hemisphere.

EastPack invests in an automated fruit sorter and is the first to develop robotic stacking equipment.

Psa was discovered in Te Puke, dramatically affecting production and Grower livelihood across the kiwifruit industry.

EastPack and Satara merge to become the largest Post-Harvest operator in the industry.

EastPack re-commissions the Washer Road packing site and installs the latest Compac grading technology.

EastPack commissions the largest fruit sorting machine in Kiwifruit Industry, a 14 lane Compac fruit sorter with NIR and Spectrim technology.

EastPack commissions a new Grader 3, incorporating the latest advances in automation technology, vision grading systems and system control.
